Our Story

Surf -N- Laundry was born from a simple observation: Pensacola deserved a laundromat that felt like an upgrade, not a chore. Owner Arthur had spent years in the service industry and noticed that most laundromats in town were stuck in the 1990s – dim lighting, old machines that ate quarters, and an overall vibe that made you want to get in and out as fast as possible.

Arthur wanted to change that. He envisioned a bright, clean, modern space where doing laundry could actually be pleasant – even enjoyable. A place with brand-new, high-efficiency equipment, plenty of seating, fast Wi-Fi, big-screen TVs, and a team that genuinely cares about every customer who walks through the door.

In early 2025, after months of planning and renovation, Surf -N- Laundry opened its doors at 6307 North 9th Avenue in Pensacola. From day one, the response was overwhelming. Families, college students, military members, snowbirds, and local businesses all said the same thing: "Finally – a laundromat that doesn't feel like a laundromat."

One year later, we're proud to be one of highest-rated laundromat in Pensacola (4.8 stars on Google from over 63 reviews and counting), and we've become much more than just a place to wash clothes. We're a community hub where neighbors catch up, kids do homework while parents fold, and everyone leaves with fresh laundry and a smile.

Meet the Owner – Arthur

Arthur isn't just the owner – he's here almost every day, greeting customers by name and making sure everything runs perfectly. A Pensacola native with deep roots in the community, Arthur grew up in a hard working family and learned early the value of hard work, integrity, and treating people right.

Before opening Surf -N- Laundry, Arthur spent over a decade managing high-end customer service operations. He brings that same attention to detail to every aspect of the laundromat – from personally testing every new detergent we carry to making sure the coffee is always fresh and free for customers.

Arthur's philosophy is simple: "If we take great care of our customers, everything else takes care of itself." That's why he invested heavily in the absolute best equipment available and built a team that shares his commitment to excellence.
